information. We plan to raise up people in ministry to use their gifts either by sharing in music or behind the scenes. This
ministry is also for those who would like Hip Hop but would not come to church otherwise. Check out the ministry Facebook page and get more information.
The Men of the
Cross meet the first Saturday of the month at 9 am to share breakfast with others. Afterwards, they study A Book of The Bible
together and
encourage one another. There are various ministries and outings they do together, call or look on our Facebook Page for more
information.
The Women of
The Cross meet TBD, currently working on preparing a time to meet. We share a potluck meal and then delve into different book
studies. We are here
to build women up in The Lord and encourage them to serve in different areas.
Discipleship Classes: Sign up Here. Details: Thursday Nights at 7pm In our sanctuary. We discuss things like Christianity, Faith, Character, Sharing our Faith and other things. There can be arrangements for other times and places for those who cannot make it.
At Risk Youth on Thursday nights at 6pm we are visiting youth at one of the Crisis Shelters here in Albuquerque. We are bringing a meal, to allow us an
opportunity to visit with them so we can mentor them, find the needs they have to try to meet them, and connect them with work,
school, or military programs. In the process of doing this, we share The Gospel with them.
Praise & Worship Our Praise and Worship is comprised of different talents, which includes Spoken Word and Rap at
various times. We use this to Lift Our King up and encourage others that there are many ways to do this. Let us know if you want
to be part of our team. Some of our Praise and Worship Team is involved with Our Hip Hop Revival Ministry as well.
Here is a list of Ministries we recommend:
Cross Christian Fellowship: This is the church from which we were sent.
CCF College: This Bible College can be done online or, attended in
person (Only for those who are attending Shepherd's School). This is the school that Pastors Mark, Mike and John graduated from
Military Biblestick: Because both Pastor Mark and Pastor John are Veterans, this
ministry is near and dear to them. This ministry is a branch of Faith Comes By Hearing, which is local to Albuquerque. This
ministry puts Military Biblesticks in the hands of Soldiers and Veterans alike.
True Life has filmed and compiled content that delivers thorough answers from a biblically
conservative Christian point of view. We have partnered with nearly 2,000 churches to share Christ’s deep and unfailing love with
our viewers.
True North Financial Ministries: This ministry helps people to look at their
finances and work on budgeting and working their way out of debt. This enables them to be faithful to God's call on how to use
their finances to bless others.
Care Net Pregnancy Center of Albuquerque: This important Organization is set up to help
Mothers/families to understand that abortion is not the answer. They work with families to help provide direction on making the
important choices in regards to carrying their babies.
U-turn For Christ: U-Turn is a ministry dedicated to help both men and women
to recover from addictions and turn their lives around for Christ. In a sense, it could be considered a Christian Rehab.
Expect A Miracle Ministries: This is another recovery ministry that helps men and
women to be discipled for Christ. It is a longer period of time for commitment and Pastor Mark is invited frequently to speak.
Friends of the Fatherless: Our ministry, Friends of the Fatherless (FOTF) has
operated for 10 years meeting the needs of abandoned children and their caregivers. Thrown away children is a segment of our
world’s population which exceeds a staggering 200 million – 2/3 the population of the USA! The need to help these children is so
great and includes food, education, clothes, therapy, vocational training, living expenses, vehicles, building projects, as well
as nurturing their spiritual, physical & emotional growth.
